Belbari, South West Garo Hills – Garudachal Vidyapeeth, Belbari, hosted a chess training camp for its students, fostering a spirit of strategic thinking and intellectual development among young minds. The training was conducted under the expert guidance of Shri Bensing Momin, a prominent coach from the Chess Association, South West Garo Hills.
The training camp, held over several days, aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of chess while also honing the skills of those already familiar with the game. Shri Bensing Momin shared his vast knowledge and experience, emphasizing the importance of discipline, patience and strategic planning in chess and in life.
The initiative received enthusiastic participation from students across various grades. Interactive sessions, practical games and tactical demonstrations were the highlights of the camp. Students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn from an expert and promised to further their skills in the game.
Principal of Garudachal Vidyapeeth, Shri Parmeshwar Rabha, appreciated Shri Bensing Momin’s dedication and stressed the importance of such activities in promoting intellectual growth and extracurricular engagement among students.
